Designed by Aedas, Taichung Commercial Bank Headquarters introduces a forward-looking architectural presence to Taichung's skyline. As curtain wall consultants and contractors, we used innovative technology and rigorous craftsmanship to deliver the building's glass facade. Offices, a hotel and public spaces come together in a new city landmark, with integrated functions and vertical connections forming a complex for business and leisure.
Design Concept and Features
Aedas explores the vertical extension of urban space. Glass volumes and cantilevered structures are arranged at different levels, creating visual depth and a dialogue with the city. The facade responds to surrounding height variations, with open terraces and observation platforms offering a varied, three-dimensional spatial experience.

Integrated Functions: Offices, a five-star hotel and retail use vertical space efficiently to create a comprehensive hub for metropolitan life.
Curtain Wall Systems: Highly transparent glass facades, including NorthGlass products, combine precise craftsmanship and a premium finish with thermal insulation and safety.
Cantilevers and Glass Volumes: Projecting glass volumes and multiple cantilevers create a layered silhouette while admitting daylight and framing city views.
Bold massing and carefully planned vertical integration make Taichung Commercial Bank Headquarters and JW Marriott a new landmark, expressing contemporary urban innovation and bringing vitality to the city's business and tourism sectors. The project demonstrates Aedas's integration of large mixed-use buildings and the possibilities created by advanced curtain wall materials and innovative design.
