The TSMC 15P5 office building integrates sustainability and smart building technology as a landmark within TSMC's green campus. High-performance Low-E curtain wall glazing and a contemporary facade admit abundant natural light while reducing heat gain. Its most distinctive feature combines vertical green walls spanning multiple floors with intelligent environmental controls, creating a verdant, oxygen-rich workplace and improving energy efficiency. Advanced energy-saving measures and forward-looking design bring comfort and sustainability together.

Design Concept and Features

Nature and Sustainability in a Technology Park: The project centers on creating a smart green building. The design team introduced intelligent control systems, including lighting, air conditioning and carbon dioxide sensing, to adjust the indoor environment automatically for energy efficiency and comfort. Green walls spanning multiple floors enhance the interior and improve air quality, expressing the integration of architecture and nature.

For TSMC 15P5, our in-house specialists collaborated throughout early design consultation, green building certification planning, engineering coordination, procurement, curtain wall construction and smart system installation. Spatial Planning and Facade Design

• Energy-Efficient Facade:Extensive curtain wall glazing and shading provide views and daylight while controlling solar heat gain. Low-E glass reduces cooling loads, while vertical planting across parts of the facade creates a distinctive connection between people and nature. The overall appearance is clean, contemporary and technological.
• Environmental Responsibility and Innovation:Advanced energy management and planting substantially reduce per-person electricity and water use compared with conventional office buildings. The project demonstrates environmental innovation, supports the park's sustainable development and sets a benchmark for future smart buildings.
