Within the historic Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Eslite Spectrum Songyan was designed by renowned architect Toyo Ito to bring history and contemporary creativity together. The building retains the site's cultural memory while using innovative design and contemporary construction to create a distinctive setting for cultural display and exchange, with an artistic character and a sense of its time.
Design Concept and Features
Toyo Ito's design allows tradition and innovation to coexist. The cultural depth of historic architecture combines with fluid contemporary lines to create an experience that respects the past while looking ahead. Carefully organized spaces and a gentle material palette bring creative industries, art and retail together in a layered spatial composition.
