Eastern Group Invests NT$13 Billion in an International Media Park: Gary Wang Shares His Vision for New Taipei and Linkou

Eastern Group Invests NT$13 Billion in an International Media Park: Gary Wang Shares His Vision for New Taipei and Linkou

At the ceremony, Eastern Group President Gary Wang said: “Since winning the site tender at the end of 2019, we have worked to develop an international mixed-use campus here. The original investment was NT$7 billion, but inflation and growing construction requirements ultimately brought it to NT$13 billion.” Positioned as an international landmark surpassing Taipei's Xinyi Planning District, the campus aims to become a focal point for people and investment. It marks an important milestone in Eastern Group's Taiwan-based, globally oriented development.

An Ambitious Vision for a World-Class Media Park

‍

The multifunctional campus will include a 2,000-person exhibition and performance venue, a 500-person live house, and the new Silks x hotel brand developed with Silks Hotel Group, alongside AI-powered management systems. It will also bring together the group's businesses, including the Eastern Baifu Health Center and the Eastern REGAL beauty and aesthetic medicine center.

“As the building rises floor by floor, clear days reveal exceptional views of northern Taiwan's four great mountains and Taipei 101. At night, two spectacular ribbons of highway lights resemble fiery dragons. The sweeping panorama offers a truly bird's-eye view.”
